What's new in 1.0
Nebula 1.0 is the first release, for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It is free, with one optional purchase, Nebula Pro.
Music from anywhere
- Your own songs, with playlists, shuffle, repeat and crossfades.
- Live internet radio. Radio plays a few seconds behind the station so Nebula can hear what is coming.
- Indie: free, full-length tracks from independent artists.
- Nebula: free music made for Nebula, with its beats ready at once. Keep a song on the device to play it offline.
- The microphone, and on a Mac, whatever the Mac is playing.
- Whole-song analysis on your device: beats, bars, chords, sections, builds and drops. Song memory makes a repeat play ready at once.
Look and feel
- 41 visual Elements, each with its own knobs, and ready-made scenes to start from.
- Layers: stack visuals, mix them with 13 blend modes, and undo or redo each layer's changes.
- Patches: cables from the music to any knob, with bands, song structure, random, numbers, time and colors as sources.
- Scenes: your changes are kept as you go. Rename, copy, export and import
.nebulafiles, and give a scene its own music. - A time line with beat-snapped section loops and hold-to-scan.
- Touch plays the picture on layers that respond to it.
